Thirteen years of making infrastructure legible.

In short

I started out automating other people's infrastructure with Puppet and Terraform, spent a couple of years inside an APM vendor learning how observability works from the other side, and have spent the last several years building and leading the platform, IT and security function at a healthcare company.

The through-line is instrumentation. If you cannot measure a system you cannot reason about it, and if you cannot reason about it you end up guessing at three in the morning. I would rather build the boring version that tells you what is wrong.

      • Built company culture with the leadership team, and interviewed and hired across several teams.

      • Built the platform infrastructure from the ground up: AWS, automation, monitoring, instrumentation, CI/CD and SDLC.
      • Established 24/7/365 on-call.
